Spooky Sounds Date Night Fall 2018

Coming up with some great Spooky ideas!

We had such fun at our Spooky Sounds date night! First, students performed a spooky, minor or costumed piece they’d prepared.

Working together to choose sounds and motives for “Bone Soup”

Then, we created a music reading of the book Bone Soup: A Spooky, Tasty Tale by Alyssa Satin Capucilli. Students are parents were so creative with their spooky sound improvisations for our “Bone Soup” reading. I need to track down a video!

For some parents, this was their very first piano recital. Some parents said this was their favorite recital ever!
