Keyboard Gymnastics Creative Project 2017

Congratulations to Grace, Jude, Derek and Joseph!  These four students participated in the Keyboard Gymnastics of Phoenix Creative Project event today and received excellent scores.  This was their first Creative Project event and it was a success!

Jude shared the inspiring stories of Beethoven and Ray Charles and their success as musicians. Beethoven became deaf during his composing career and Ray Charles lost his vision as a young child.

Derek and Joseph had a great time arranging their own version of When the Saints Go Marching In including piano and drums and some piano duet improvisation.

Grace’s composition, Gummy Bears, was a hit with judges and audience alike. Listen carefully for her lyrics!
