Each year students from my studio join with 500 Tucson area piano students for the TMTA Ensemble Concert. This year included 26 of my students on stage at Centennial Hall at the University of Arizona. Six students went the extra mile and played in two pieces, which means more work at home as well as attending twice as many rehearsals.
Great job, everybody, for a fabulous performance! Thanks, parents, for your support at home and getting the students to their rehearsals. And a special thanks to everyone who helped make things go smoothly for my family during the four very busy Ensemble concert weekends. Thanks for helping with rides for my children, for helping me as runners during the concert, and for many other small and large favors.
Usually we only view the formal performance on stage. But here’s a rare glimpse of a fun backstage moment featuring six Creative Keys students!
