Another Fabulous Piano Ensemble Concert

Congratulations, students, on another fantastic TMTA Piano Ensemble Concert.  Creative Keys enrolled 27 students in the concert this year.  These students spent many hours learning, memorizing, and rehearsing their pieces and did a fabulous job at the concert.

Fourteen of these students went the extra mile and performed in two, three, or even more pieces.  This is fantastic because it helps fill pianos that otherwise would be empty, but it requires double the work and sometimes two trips to the U of A for rehearsals each weekend.  Two students even learned and memorized pieces in just six days before the concert to fill in for students who dropped at the last rehearsal.  What dedication!

Thanks to parents who drove their performers to rehearsals and provided encouragement and help at home. We couldn’t do this without your support!

I’m looking forward to next year’s Piano Ensemble Concert.  We’ll be celebrating our diamond jubilee – our 60th year providing this wonderful opportunity for young Tucson pianists.  We’ll see you there!
